Venue : ‘Le Consortium’, Dijon, during Novosonic festival, #8.

Recorded : 2011, october, 25th. 

Notes : I contacted Alex a month before he came to the Novosonic festival in Dijon. We planned to do the session after his soundscheck. But things changed three days before the show. Mr David Lynch, in Paris the same day of the gig, wanted Dirty Beaches to play in his club, the ‘Silencio’. So the gig in Dijon moved from 8:00 to 6:00 to let Alex and his crew take a train to Paris to play le Silencio that same night. Alex proposed to do the session at the beginning of the afternoon. It took about 1 hour because of a pedal power supply problem. But the result is really good. The music is perfect for the place (and vice versa).

Alex let us film two tracks of the show. It was a fast day, but a nice day. Lovely people.
